Dear All,
It is a pleasure for the ITFU World Tournament Committee, following a thorough review and evaluation
of the proposals received, to confirm that we have accepted Spain’s bid to host the 2027 World
Championship in Lanzarote, Canary Islands.
After carefully considering the infrastructure, logistics, sports facilities, and hospitality offered by the
Canary Islands, we firmly believe that this international event will be exemplary in this destination.
Furthermore, the islands’ strategic location and natural surroundings will provide a unique experience for
both participants and attendees.
The International Taekwondo Federation of Spain (FITE), under the leadership of its president, Carlos
Enrique Martín, will be responsible for organizing this major event presented by ITFUNION. With a
highly trained team and the backing of a solid track record, FITE will guarantee impeccable planning,
ensuring the event’s success down to the last detail. Its experience hosting the European Championships
reinforces its ability to manage high-level competitions, consolidating its international prestige.
We are confident that Spain, and especially Lanzarote, will be able to provide all the necessary conditions
to ensure the success of this Championship. We appreciate the dedication and effort invested in this
proposal and look forward to working together to make the event a resounding success.
We will be in touch soon to coordinate the next steps in organizing the event and ensure that all
requirements are met according to the international standards established by our Committee and
ITFUNION.
Thanking you in advance for your collaboration and hoping for a successful collaboration in this
important event, I send you my regards.
