The vibrant city of Almaty, Kazakhstan, is gearing up to host one of the continent’s most anticipated martial arts events — the ITFU Asian Championship 2026, taking place from June 26 to 28 under the organization of the International Taekwon-Do Federation Union (ITFU) and the Kazakhstan ITFU Association.
This historic championship will bring together top athletes from across Asia in a showcase of skill, discipline, and sportsmanship, reaffirming ITFU’s growing presence and unity throughout the region.
“The Asian Championship is more than a tournament — it’s a celebration of ITFU’s development and the spirit of Taekwon-Do in Asia,” said Master Jo Arsol, President of ITFU Asia.
For three exciting days, the Almaty Korean National Center will host competitions in patterns, sparring, and special techniques, featuring certified umpires and officials from the ITFU World Tournament Committee.
With the technical coordination of Master Konstantin Digay and support from key organizations and sponsors, the event is set to become a milestone in the international Taekwon-Do calendar.
