
The International Taekwon-Do Federation Union proudly announces the official launch of ITF Taekwon-Do Union Canada, establishing its national representation in the country. The new branch is dedicated to preserving the teachings of General Choi Hong Hi while promoting a cooperative, inclusive, and politically neutral environment.
From the provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, distinguished founding clubs and instructors join the initiative:
- Master Ken MacKenzie, VIII Dan – MacKenzie Atlantic Taekwon-Do
- Master David Hiltz, VIII Dan – Champions Taekwon-Do
- Master Jim Ripley, VII Dan – JC’s Taekwon-Do
- Mr. Darren MacLeod, VI Dan – MacLeod’s Martial Arts Academy
- Mr. Jim Hiltz, III Dan – Jim’s Taekwon-Do
- Mrs. Monique Flynn, III Dan – Prestige Taekwon-Do
ITF Union Canada becomes not only the official representative in the country but also a hub for collaboration and growth in both technical and ethical aspects of Taekwon-Do.
“We warmly welcome all students, instructors, and clubs joining this new chapter. This is a major step forward in our global commitment to traditional martial arts,” said the ITF Union leadership.
